Who we are

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is composed of a group of individuals of renowned prestige for its pioneering activity in the history of design. Its aim is to encourage the transfer of experience and knowledge to future generations, institutions and society in general. The board of trustees is currently composed of:

    Sílvia Ventosa | Vice president

    Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. PhD in Design and Image from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona.   • Neus Moyano | Vocal

    PhD in architecture from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Degree in Philosophy and Literature from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Diploma in Museology from the École du Louvre.He has been a professor in museology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has developed his work in the Cultural Olympiad and in the Exhibitions Service of the Contemporary Culture Center of Barcelona (CCCB).     Degree in Art History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and specialist in furniture conservation and restoration. She teaches History of Furniture and History of Ceramics in various universities and institutions. She also works as scientific adviser for various publications.     Marta Montmany | Vocal

    Anthropologist, museums and exhibition curator, with extensive experience in the management of museums and cultural institutions.   • Josep M. Fort | Vocal

    Architect and Industrial Designer. Ph.D. in Architecture for the ETSAB (1997) with the thesis “The Architecture of Pergolas and “Umbracles” (Cum-laude). Associate professor of the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC), since 1990. President of ADI-FAD (Association of Industrial Design of the Fostering Arts and Design), from 1999 to 2004. Author of several books and of more than 200 articles about architecture and design. Director of the Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies in “Design-Barcelona / MBDesign” (UPC-UB), since 2017. CV
